She is a huge inspiration and founder of one of the leading groups in the country talking about the intersections between animal rights, human rights, environmental racism, corporate players and food access. Lauren brings the issues home and creates a paradigm in which we can all be a part of the solution. It's no coincidence that her organization is called Food Empowerment Project.
